This is a conjoined blogging experience with my deployed husband and myself. After much directional dysfunction from above, my husband leaves this week for Balad, Iraq. Our home is a scattered convergence of Christmas and war paraphernalia. Combat boots, bright orange belts, sand scarves and small bottles of gasoline (I will tell you later-- keep reading) what a dichotomy.
Brad and I thought it would be intersting to chronicle both lives through a blogging experience. He deploys to Iraq as a vegetarian who wants to see if he can actually make it. I joke with him that he can trade his meat for twice the vegetables.
I will be at home taking an educational quarter off waiting to see if I get into RN-nursing school. A sad time to have so much *extra* time. We'll keep you posted!
